Chris Akrigg is the current British champion
I think that he has the skill and the blistering speed to become the world champion one day.

Martyn Ashton
Martyn is one of the best in Britain, he usually comes pretty close to winning the World championships. He rides for one of the best teams in the World, Cannondale/Volvo. He is one of my favourite riders ever and he always rides with his best mate Martin Hawyes who is also one of the best riders in Britain. |

I have only seen Neil in MBUK where was riding his Pashley 26mhz in the Isle of Man he shortly got a sponsership deal with the Saracen M.A.D Display team,
when you see the picture you think oh thats not very good and it's not a very big gap, thats what i thought until i read the artical and it shocked me to see that this gap is 11feet wide amazing!!! |

Martin Hawyes
Martin Hawyes is the other half of the two Marti/yns. The only difference between these two in reference to their riding is their team they're riding for. Martin Hawyes rides for Giant.
Seen as Martin Hawyles is Martyn Ashton best mates they have basically the same technique. Martin I feel seemed to do very well in the Worlds this year, he is one of my admiries and apart from Akrigg and Eddie Tongue I think he is at the top of Britain. |
